And just what has this 110th congress accomplished? Good/Bad? How about almost nothing substantial or meaningful.Much symbolism and very little substance.
#1. Holding the GOP GWB administration accountable for hurricane Katrina. But, this same congress conveniently overlooks and disregards any problems that resulted from the lack of actions take by Mayor Nagin and Gov. Landreiux.
#2. Trying to bring the troops home from Iraq in defeat.
#3. The 'global warming" hoax (religion), which most real climatologists and meteorologists are now disavowing en-masse.
#4. Subpoena after subpoena for non-crime issueswhich have already been decided in the court system, but with which the Dem-Libs disagree.
#5. Yes, the Dem-Libs passed pay-go legislation, but they are the first to refuse to allow "tax cuts" which will bring more money into the treasury which will pay for the increased social programs they want.
They passed more ethics reform measures, but in turn refuse to do anything about the criminals in their own party still retaining seats.
The mega-multi millionaire Dem-Libs and their mega-multi billionaire contributors continue passing laws making it always more difficult for the little-guy average-Joe conservative to financially support GOP candidates and the party. Now the reason for this is that they can brag about reining in lobbyist Jack Abramoff; but he was paying and buying many more Dem-Libs than GOP's.
To be fair though, this is all only possible due to the 6-7 years of totally irresponsible GOPs trying to outspend and out-Lib the democrats. History of the 1980's was not studied or learned, where because of tax cuts revenues increased by 90%, but congressional spending increased by 125%, and put us into deep crap.

Kinda hard to do anything with a simple majority...as for Iraq, neither one of these parties have any guts...as for global warming you must have stocks in the energy monopolies in this country, that debate has long been over but it doesn't matter because nothing will or can be done...I know it's hard to be objective as a partisan...that's the problem in our country today...division and contempt...we're fricked when we get people like yourself within this great nation saying, it's us against them...[COOL]
